Day 1

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Like many southeast Florida neighbours, Fort Lauderdale has long been revitalizing. In a state where gaudy tourist zones often stand aloof from workaday downtowns, Fort Lauderdale exhibits consistency at both ends of the 2-mile Las Olas corridor. The sparkling look results from upgrades both downtown and on the beachfront. Matching the downtown's innovative arts district, cafés, and boutiques is an equally inventive beach area, with hotels, cafés, and shops facing an undeveloped shoreline, and new resort-style hotels replacing faded icons of yesteryear.

Day 2

Harbour Island

Harbour Island is a small slip of island, extending three miles from north to south and less than half a mile wide. The island at the northern tip of the much larger Eleuthera Island. Despite its small size it has about 1,700 residents and one incorporated town, Dunmore Town, named after the governor of the Bahamas John Murray, the 4th Earl of Dunmore (1785 to 1798 governorship). The island is known for its pink sand beaches – the pink comes from a microscopic organism (foraminifera) with a reddish-pink shell.

Day 3

Conception Island

Conception Island is an uninhabited island in the Bahamas, and a protected Bahamas National Land and Sea Park. The approximately 3 square-mile island is pristine, with idyllic powder white beaches and crystal-clear water. Conception island is an important nesting location for seabirds and a hatching site for green sea turtles. Snorkelers and divers will see a wide array of tropical fish, among them Queen Anglefish, Nassau Groupers, Rainbow Parrotfish and Blue Tangs. Lucky visitors may get to see wild dolphin that frequent the area at times.

Day 4

At sea

While we're at sea, enjoy wine tastings, designer boutiques, language and dance classes. Take in a matinee movie, check the market or your e-mail in the Internet Point, slip away with a novel from the library to a sunny chaise or with a movie to your suite. Or just take in the sun pool side. The choice is yours.

Day 5

At sea

Day 6

Providencia Island

Day 7

San Andres Island

The San Andres and Providencia archipelago comprises Colombia's Caribbean islands, lying some 290 miles north of the South American coast. Palm-dotted San Andres is only eight miles long and two miles wide. It is noted for beautiful sand beaches, crystal-clear waters and good diving sites. At one time the island belonged to Britain and, according to local lore; it was a favourite hideout for the legendary pirate Henry Morgan. In 1822, San Andres came under the control of Colombia. In recent years the original population has greatly increased due to unrestricted immigration from the mainland.

Day 8

Boca del Toro

Translated as Mouths of the Bull, Bocas del Toro is both a province and an archipelago in the northwest Caribbean Sea in Panama. The archipelago contains 10 larger islands (including the main Isla Colon, where the town of Bocas del Toro is situated), 50 cays and 200 tiny islets. The region contains Isla Bastimentos National Marine Park, Panama’s first national marine park that covers over 32,000 acres and protects forests, mangroves, monkeys, sloths, caiman, crocodile and 28 species of amphibians and reptiles. The park also contains Playa Larga, an important nesting site for sea turtles.

Day 9

Colón

The provincial capital of Colón, beside the canal's Atlantic entrance, is named for the Spanish-language surname of Christopher Columbus, though the Americans called it Aspinwall in the 19th century. It was once a prosperous city, as the architecture of its older buildings attests, but it spent the second half of the 20th century in steady decay. Though the 21st century brought relief to the city’s chronic unemployment problems, much of it remains a slum, and crime is endemic.

Day 10

Panama Canal transit

The Panama Canal bisects the country just to the west of Panama City, which enjoys excellent views of the monumental waterway. Between the canal and the rain forest that covers its islands, banks, and adjacent national parks, there is enough to see and do to fill several days. Central Panama stretches out from the canal across three provinces and into two oceans to comprise everything from the mountains of the Cordillera Central to the west, to the Caribbean coral reefs and colonial fortresses in the north, to the beaches of the Pearl Islands in the Bahía de Panamá (Bay of Panama) in the south.

Day 11

Day at sea

Day 12

Quepos

Quepos allows tourists to experience a once in a lifetime nature experience in Manuel Antonio National Park without leaving any of the familiar amenities behind. The close proximity of the park, located just 4.3 miles (7 km) to the south, and a wide array of services makes Quepos the perfect place to visit for those who wish to explore this enchanting area. The amenities available include everything from banks, restaurants, hotels, gift shops, bakeries, bars, a hospital, supermarket and even a post office.

Day 13

Golfito

Golfito, is situated along a small inlet of Golfo Dulce. This small port city is a narrow strip along Golfito Bay backed against steep green hills covered with pristine rainforest, with the Golfo Dulce seaward outside Golfito Bay. Surrounded by tropical rainforest, Golfito provides an ideal location to escape from your hectic schedule and enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica with a stunning backdrop of verdant hills and lush rainforest.

Day 14

Day at sea

Day 15

Isla de la Plata

Isla de la Plata translates to ‘Island of Silver’, and the name was derived from the legend of swashbuckling pirate Sir Francis Drake’s buried silver treasure. The popular legend states that in the 16th century, hundreds of tons of silver and gold were never fully recovered and are still hidden on the island. The island was privately owned until 1979, when it was declared part of Ecuador’s Machalilla National Park. Best known for its fauna, which is amazingly similar to that of the Galapagos Islands, Isla de la Plata is a delightful place for birding, photography and long nature walks.

Day 16

Machala

Several National Sanctuaries and Ecological Reserves found near Machala boast sun-drenched beaches and mangrove forests. Pelicans, frigatebirds, and egrets nest nearby as Blue-footed Boobies dive for fish further out to sea. Whales and dolphins can occasionally be seen in the vicinity. Machala, with a population of approximately 250,000 inhabitants, is moreover known for traditional Latin American foods from shrimp ceviche to fried bananas. In fact, bananas feature heavily in the culture as the city is also known as the “Capital of the Banana".

Day 17

Paita

While Silver Cloud sails south towards Peru, take the time to attend one of the lectures, seminars or workshops, savour the tempting food our chefs have prepared for you or simply relax next to the pool –a Pisco Sour might be a good first introduction to Peru and its special tastes. In the evening we will arrive in Paita for a technical stop to clear into Peru.

Day 18

Cruise Isla Lobos de Tierra

Isla Lobos de Tierra and Lobos de Afuera are steep and rocky islands that protrude more than 200 feet from the surface of the deep blue Pacific. An abundant array of marine mammals and seabirds surround these two islands. Sea lions bask on the beach and hundreds of Blue-footed Boobies can be viewed ashore as well, while Peruvian Pelicans pass overhead. Lucky visitors may see the rare blue whale pass by these islands.

Day 19

Salaverry

Located about nine hours north of Lima, Trujillo was founded in 1534 by the Spanish conquistador Pizarro. The attractive, colonial city retains much of its original charm with elegant casonas, or mansions, lining the streets. Nearby is Chan Chan, the ancient capital of the Chimú, a local Indian tribe who came under the rule of the Incas. The area has several other Chimú sites, some dating back about 1500 years. The region is also famous as the home of the Peruvian Paso horses, as well as excellent beaches offering world-class surfing and other water sports.

Day 20

Callao, Lima

When people discuss great South American cities, Lima is often overlooked. But Peru's capital can hold its own against its neighbours. It has an oceanfront setting, colonial-era splendour, sophisticated dining, and nonstop nightlife. It's true that the city—clogged with traffic and choked with fumes—doesn't make a good first impression, especially since the airport is in an industrial neighbourhood.

Overview

Caribbean and South American Nature and Culture

Immerse yourself in Caribbean and South American nature and culture, all thanks to the connection created by the Panama Canal. This incredible voyage will leave from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA and transport us immediately to the paradise offered by Harbour and Provencia Islands. After crossing the Panama Canal, go birding at magical Isla de la Plata in Ecuador (compared to the Galapagos Islands for its wildlife). Explore ancient ruins in Peru at the Temples of the Sun and Moon to learn about Moche culture. Hike Costa Rica’s Manuel Antonio National Park to view rare flora and fauna, as well as three other national reserves in Machala, Ecuador. This trip is a birdwatcher’s dream, with over 20 species endemic and visible in these regions, including Blue- and Red-footed boobies, Toucans, Egrets, Kingbirds, Magnficent Frigatebirds, among many others. Go snorkelling to visit the diverse sea life at Conception Island, Providencia, San Andres and Isla de la Plata. Throughout the voyage, learn about the geology, wildlife and botany of these locations from lecture presentations offered by your knowledgeable on-board Expedition Team.

Highlights

Harbour Island, Bahamas – Harbour Island charms every visitor, with its colourful Colonial houses and wild horses occasionally spotted running along the serene beaches. The unusual Harbour Island beaches are known for their pink sands. The pink colour actually comes from a microscopic organism (foraminifera) with a reddish-pink shell, and looks stunning against the azure blues of the Bahamian waters • Providencia Island, Columbia – Providencia Island boasts hike-worthy views and a stunningly bright blue lagoon noted for the vibrancy of its waters even on a cloudy day. It is a Columbian island with a distinctly Caribbean atmosphere, yet the residents of this special destination speak predominantly English and an English-based Creole • Panama Canal, Panama – In daylight we will traverse the 48-mile Panama Canal, a manmade waterway that connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and one of the most challenging engineering projects ever undertaken. We will have the unique opportunity to view the Canal from both sea and land on this voyage • Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica – Visit Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica’s emblematic national park and a crucial wildlife sanctuary, home to many of Costa Rica’s endangered species. While this is Costa Rica’s “smallest” national park, it spans 1,700 acres of land and 136,000 acres of ocean! The site is known for its wildlife-rich hiking trails and gorgeous white sand beaches • Isla de la Plata, Ecuador – Spend time on Isla de la Plata, or the Island of Silver, where legend says that hundreds of tons of silver and gold were hidden and never recovered by Sir Francis Drake. Hike across the spectacular island, compared to the Galapagos Islands for its fauna, making it ideal for bird-watching and snorkelling • Visit the archaelogical remains of the Huaca of the Sun and Huaca of the Moon, scaled temples built by the Moche civilization of northern Peru in approximately 500 AD. • Learn about the Moche culture through the rich iconography and monumental architecture that remain • Wildlife Watch List: Toucans, Black-necked Stilt, Cattle and Great Egrets, Turkey and Black Vulture, Tropical Kingbird, Lemon-rumped, Blue-grey, White-shouldered, Beryl-spangled and Palm Tanager, Rufous-tailed and Violet-bellied Hummingbird, White-necked Jacobin, Long-tailed Mockingbird, Rufous Motmot, Chestnut-mandibled Toucan, Long-wattled Umbrellabird, Ornate, Boat-billed and Olive-striped Flycatcher, White-bearded Manakin. Magnificent Frigatebirds, Brown Pelicans, Brown, Blue-footed, Red-footed and Nazca Boobies, Red-billed Tropicbirds. Sloths, dart frogs, spider and howler monkeys

At the southern end of town by the harbour is Marina Port la Royale. This area includes elegant stores with the latest in European designer fashion and fine jewellery, all duty and tax-free. The entire city is only four streets wide, so it is very easy to get around. Marigot was named the capital during the reign of King Louis XVI, who built Fort St. Louis on a hill near Marigot Bay. Day 2

Falmouth Bay

Falmouth Bay is a short walk from Nelson's Dockyard and the English Harbour. Historic buildings and mills surround it. This harbour and the quiet village has plenty of shops, restaurants and the yacht club. Historic sites, tasty cuisine and a lively cultural scene can all be found on Antigua. But most often it's the beauty and versatility of the island's 365 beaches that draw travellers from afar. Land Adventure possibilities include a helicopter ride over Montserrat, a jeep and snorkel safari and a St. John’s City and shopping exploration.

Day 3

From Falmouth Bay to Little Bay

Prior to the recent volcanic eruptions that commenced in 1995, Montserrat was considered as one of the “Insiders” favourite Caribbean islands. It was also home to producer George Martin’s Air Studios Montserrat recording studio where some of the world’s most famous recording artists, including Eric Clapton, the Little River Band and Paul McCartney among many others, used to record their albums. Recent history has brought some unfortunate blows to the island ranging from hurricanes (Hugo in 1989) to multiple volcanic eruptions. Yet, in the face of such unfortunate setbacks, Montserrat remains an island worth visiting and its people, as friendly and warm as ever, are trying hard to bring back the economic viability of the island. Just imagine an island where almost two- thirds of its surface space is no longer available to agriculture or habitation; an island whose lovely capital city of Plymouth was destroyed by the volcanic eruptions and mudslides. A population that went from a high of 13,000 inhabitants to as low as 3,000 shortly after the first eruptions. Fortunately, more and more of the former residents are returning to the island and are trying to make a living off tourism once again. We at SEADREAM would like to assist them in this effort by making frequent visits to the island. We thus encourage you to take the time and join us on an interesting land adventure exploring the unique landscape of Montserrat.

Day 4

Frigate Bay

Day 5

From Saba to Gustavia

Saba; this Caribbean paradise is a special municipality of the Netherlands. Due to this fact, Saba is actually the location of the tallest, or highest point/elevation of the Netherlands, even though it is a few thousand miles away from its European homeland. With an estimated local population of just over 2,000 people, Saba is now primarily supported by tourism, and is known for a concentration on “eco-tourism”. This includes diving, hiking, and climbing its mountainous terrain. The island is so small that there is only 1 main road, and its airport is well-known for having one of the shortest commercial runways in the world. The island’s intimate size, picturesque Red rooftops and lush vegetation make it a perfect port to call on during your special Caribbean yachting vacation.

Day 6

Gustavia

Perhaps our most treasured destination in the Caribbean! This small island belonging to the French West Indies has so much to offer our SeaDream guests. Incredible shopping only steps away from the pier. Incredible beaches, resorts, restaurants and activities both day and night. SeaDream has created various land adventures for you to discover the island from sea or land. Ask one of the officers to take you on a hike or bike ride around the island. Another great activity here is to simply relax and watch all of the incredible yachts arriving and departing just off your SeaDream yacht.

Day 7

White Bay, Jost van Dyke

The BVI’s barefoot island and home of the "Painkiller" drink. Population depends on the month – typically 250-300. This is another SeaDream destination where you may be served Champagne and Caviar in the surf followed by a beach barbecue lunch. A hike is always offered to guests to visit the famous Foxy’s Bar at Great Harbour (hopefully, the boutique is open) or you can stroll a few meters down the beach to the Soggy Dollar Bar. Snorkeling equipment is provided as well as some of our water toys!

Day 8

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Disembarkation.
The capital and largest city in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It has two ports of call for cruise vessels, Havensight and Crown Bay. SeaDream yachts are almost always docked at Crown Bay which is very close to the airport. In the event the yachts call to the island as a port of call rather than an embarkation point, you will find the yacht anchored in the bay and tendering downtown. The island has tons of history, beautiful beaches, a fantastic golf course and incredible shopping options.

Day 1

San Juan

San Juan, founded in the 1520’s by Spanish settlers, is both the largest city and the capital city of Puerto Rico. A territory of the Unites States, Puerto Rico is comprised of the large main island as well as five smaller islands, including the popular islands of Vieques and Culebra (both ports of call on select SeaDream voyages). SeaDream docks in Old San Juan, the oldest part of the city. Parts of this historic port city are still surrounded by stone walls dating back to the 1500’s. Narrow cobblestone streets, small shops, and points of interest like Cathedral of San Juan Bautista make this charming city a great place to stroll. Guests sailing into or departing from San Juan will enjoy views of Castillo de San Felipe del Morro, a mid- 1700’s Spanish fortress. San Juan Luiz Munoz Marin Airport is approximately a 30-minute drive to the port in Old San Juan. Currency in Puerto Rico is USD.

Day 2

North Sound, Virgin Gorda

Nearly every publication written about Virgin Gorda lists “The Baths” –as a must see! SeaDream generally arrives early and anchor’s off Spanish Town to give guests an early start to view the Baths before all of the tourists arrive from the neighbouring Islands. You may also consider excellent Scuba Diving options or an opportunity to swim with dolphins. After our short “technical stop” to dispatch land adventures and clearance with the officials, SeaDream navigates scenically up the coast and arrives at North Sound to anchor just off the Bitter End Yacht Club. Here we offer water sports, land adventures, hiking options with the officers and tenders to the Bitter End!

Day 3

From North Sound, Virgin Gorda to White Bay, Jost van Dyke

The BVI’s barefoot island and home of the "Painkiller" drink. Population depends on the month – typically 250-300. This is another SeaDream destination where you may be served Champagne and Caviar in the surf followed by a beach barbecue lunch. A hike is always offered to guests to visit the famous Foxy’s Bar at Great Harbour (hopefully, the boutique is open) or you can stroll a few meters down the beach to the Soggy Dollar Bar. Snorkelling equipment is provided as well as some of our water toys!

Day 4

From Sandy Ground to Gustavia

This British Overseas Territory is becoming more popular due to the incredible resort options as well as world recognized beaches and amazing golf. SeaDream offers an opportunity to tee off, swim with dolphins or for the energetic, bike around the island with the Captain or Club Director. Naturally, we will also offer water sports while we are anchored off Sandy Ground.

Day 5

Day 6

Charlestown, Nevis

Nevis is one of our favorite islands, and we encourage you to explore Nevis beyond the small town to make the most of your visit! We offer several excellent and varied options for you to do so and still leave you with plenty of time on your own for the beach. Less commercial and laidback than its large neighbor St. Kitts, Nevis, at first glimpse, offers a stunning approach with dramatic views of the potentially active volcanic Nevis Peak (3,232 feet/985 meters). Your SeaDream tender will bring you within a few steps of the small town center. Charlestown does not offer too many sightseeing or shopping opportunities though the house where American statesman Alexander Hamilton was born is only a short walk away along the waterfront (now the Museum of Nevis History). To enjoy Nevis to its full potential, we recommend that you divide your day into Morning, Lunch/Afternoon and Evening activities. Morning - Start your day by exploring the island, above or under water, on one of our fun optional Land Adventures. They are all enjoyable & exciting, and you will also support the local community. The Four Seasons Resort still offers incredible golf options as well as beautiful beach and dining facilities. Another option for lunch could be at Coconut Grove (less than ten minutes from Charlestown by taxi). Make sure to ask Gary, the owner, to show you his extensive wine & champagne cellar! Evening - For a romantic sunset with cocktails and a snack or dinner, we like to take the short drive to see Gillian, the owner of the charming Bananas Restaurant, which offers lovely views surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Of course, there is also Sunshine's Beach Bar & Grill, home of the famous "Killer Bee" Caribbean rum drink. We hope that the above recommendations allow you to plan your special day on Nevis. Now, all you have to do is to decide which of the optional morning activities to join.

Day 7

From Charlestown, Nevis to South Friar's Bay

South Friar's Bay offers SeaDream guests a new way to explore the island of St. Kitts. Rather than docking at the capital, the yacht will be anchored in the bay. This particular bay is one of the two bays stretching along the coast of the isthmus connecting the Southeast Peninsula, with the rest of the island of Saint Kitts. From swimming and snorkelling on the south side to body surfing on the north, Friar's Bay offers guests several options. Many locals consider the southern beach the best on the island. If you are thirsty, no worries as there are multiple beach bars, offering various food and beverage options. The island itself offers several land adventure options including the Unesco Awarded Brimstone Fortress, Zip Lines, off road adventures and golf at the Royal St. Kitts.

Day 8

Marigot

Disembarkation.
Marigot is the main town and capital on the French side of Saint Martin. The city of Marigot is perhaps the most French in spirit of all the cities in the Caribbean. Colonial houses stand beside cafés and bistros, pastry shops and luxury boutiques, and in many ways, it looks just like any of the French market towns you might expect to find in Europe. Today, that building is the most important in the city. SeaDream anchors off Marigot and offers several yachting land adventures as well as the possibility to play with the toys at the marina.

Luxury Caribbean: San Juan to Marigot

SeaDream sails to some of the most wonderful and memorable Caribbean ports. With a small ship size, we are able to access some of the more intimate, less-travelled ports. Jost Van Dyke, for example, in the British Virgin Islands serves as frequent home to our Signature Champagne & Caviar Splash™ beach party, planned on most of our Caribbean voyages. Day 1

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Day 2

Cruz Bay, St. John

Two-thirds of St. John Island has been dedicated as a national park and is the most virgin of the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is blessed with many beautiful beaches and bays, fine anchorages and verdant hills. Enjoy the day with snorkelling trip to Trunk Bay with its underwater guided trail, or join our kayaking land adventure. Ask your Club Director for a guided hike to Caneel Bay stopping at beautiful Honeymoon Beach for a quite swim. Rental Cars are available should you want to explore on your own or you could borrow a SeaDream Mountain Bike for independent exploration.

Day 3

From Saba to Gustavia

This Caribbean paradise is a special municipality of the Netherlands.

Day 4

Here we offer water sports, land adventures, hiking options with the officers and tenders to the Bitter End!

Day 6

From Soper's Hole to Norman Island

(Soper's Hole) This marina on Tortola's West End retained its quaint charm while being a center of activity and voted the best marina in the BVIs. Soper's Hole imparts a great sense of place and physical intimacy and is considered one of the most picturesque marinas in the Caribbean. SeaDream is offering several land adventures including, snorkelling, scuba diving, land rover safari and swimming with the dolphins. For guests wanting some extra activity, ask the Captain or Club Director to set up a bike ride to Road Town along the coastal road. For guests wanting to simply shop or explore the marina, we suggest checking out Pusser’s Landing along with the cute boutiques.
Norman Island is located at the southern tip of the British Virgin Islands. It could very well be the very same island reputed to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's pirate novel Treasure Island. It is said that the island was named after a pirate who purchased it at some point during the early 18th century. The island is uninhabited and privately owned by Dr Henry Jarecki. Its area is about 600 acres (2.4 km²), and it is about 2.5 miles (4 km) long. A large harbor is known as "The Bight" offers one of the most protected anchorages in the area. Guests will enjoy some great hiking opportunities as well as snorkeling and scuba diving. Another attractive option may be to check out the Willie T that is generally anchored in the harbor or simply have a beverage at the Pirates Bight Bar.

Day 7

White Bay, Jost van Dyke

The BVI’s barefoot island and home of the "Painkiller" drink. Population depends on the month – typically 250-300. Day 1

Marigot

Marigot is the main town and capital on the French side of Saint Martin. The city of Marigot is perhaps the most French in spirit of all the cities in the Caribbean. Colonial houses stand beside cafés and bistros, pastry shops and luxury boutiques, and in many ways, it looks just like any of the French market towns you might expect to find in Europe. Today, that building is the most important in the city. SeaDream anchors off Marigot and offers several yachting land adventures as well as the possibility to play with the toys at the marina.

Day 2

South Friar's Bay

Kitts.

Day 3

Day 4

Iles des Saintes

The SeaDream anchorage off the island of Terre-de-Haut (part of the Iles des Saintes group of Islands) is one of the most picturesque in the entire Caribbean. Your SeaDream yacht will anchor in the bay off Bourg des Saintes, the main village on the island. Just beyond the sister island of Ilet a Cabrit to the north, you can see the main island of Guadeloupe and volcanic La Soufriere mountain with a height of about 1,466 meters/4,810 feet. A short ride onboard your SeaDream tender will take you right into the center of this charming village with its shops, restaurants and cafes. We highly recommend a stroll along the picturesque streets and colourfully painted houses, soaking in the relaxed blend of the island's French, Mediterranean & Caribbean atmosphere. If you feel energetic, we suggest that you hike up to Fort Napoleon, which has been converted into a museum, for some stunning hilltop views. You can't miss it; just turn left as you come off the pier and proceed about one mile, uphill. The museum is generally open from 0900-1230 hours and charges a small entrance fee so bring your Euros. And watch your step- the grounds around the fort are also home to a unique cactus garden and iguanas. Feeling even more energetic? Take out one of our SeaDream mountain bikes! Are you looking for some sun, sand, beach and palm trees? Our onboard Club Director knows a great beach just a short 20-25 minute, mostly flat, stroll from town. Along the walk, keep your eyes on the trees as we often spot some of the islands iguanas. Grab your sunscreen, a bottle of water and a towel from the yacht, underdress in your bathing suit and "hit the road" for some sunny hours at the beach. Casual, fun and free! During your visit to the island, we will also open up the SeaDream marina for swimming and water sports activities from the yacht. Check your daily program for the hours.

Day 5

Chrishi Beach Club, Nevis

Chrishi Beach Club is the most popular restaurant and club at the sandiest shores of Cades Bay & Nevis. The seaside sunny lunch and fine evening dining restaurant form a part of the first phase of the luxury development, Zenith Nevis. As the property development starts to take shape on the 6.5 acres stretch of private beach, visitors and guests are already able to take advantage of the carefree hospitality pledged at Chrishi Beach Club.

Day 6

From Saba to Gustavia

This Caribbean paradise is a special municipality of the Netherlands.

Day 7

Day 8

Marigot

Disembarkation.

Luxury Caribbean: Marigot to Marigot

SeaDream sails to some of the most wonderful and memorable Caribbean ports. With a small ship size, we are able to access some of the more intimate, less-travelled ports. Jost Van Dyke, for example, in the British Virgin Islands serves as frequent home to our Signature Champagne & Caviar Splash™ beach party, planned on most of our Caribbean voyages. Charlottesville, Tobago is another less-travelled destination, with an open beach and the local Pirate’s Bay to explore.

Travel to a number of beautiful ports, exploring the best that the Caribbean has to offer. Whether it’s the gorgeous South Friar’s Bay, an intimate port in St. Kitts, or the equally popular Low Bay, Barbuda you’ll be able to enjoy every stop along your luxury Caribbean voyage.

Highlights

Discover Marigot – the main town and capital on the French side of Saint Martin. Visit Gustavia, perhaps our most treasured destination in the Caribbean. Enjoy the Signature Champagne & Caviar SplashTM party. The champagne starts to flow at the sound of the ship’s horn and caviar is served to celebrate the yachting life. To top that, the party continues with a gourmet beach barbecue, all served on bone china to preserve the perfect flavour. Explore Jost van Dyke – the BVI’s barefoot island and home of the “Painkiller” drink.

From Sandy Ground to Gustavia

Sandy Ground: this British Overseas Territory is becoming more popular due to the incredible resort options as well as world recognized beaches and amazing golf. SeaDream offers an opportunity to tee off, swim with dolphins or for the energetic, bike around the island with the Captain or Club Director. Naturally, we will also offer water sports while we are anchored off Sandy Ground.

Day 4

Day 5

From Charlestown, Nevis to South Friar's Bay

South Friar's Bay offers SeaDream guests a new way to explore the island of St. Kitts. Rather than docking at the capital, the yacht will be anchored in the bay. This particular bay is one of the two bays stretching along the coast of the isthmus connecting the Southeast Peninsula, with the rest of the island of Saint Kitts. From swimming and snorkeling on the south side to body surfing on the north, Friar's Bay offers guests several options. Kitts.

Day 6

North Sound, Virgin Gorda

Nearly every publication written about Virgin Gorda lists “The Baths” –as a must see! SeaDream generally arrives early and anchor’s off Spanish Town to give guests an early start to view the Baths before all of the tourists arrive from the neighboring Islands.

Day 7

From North Sound, Virgin Gorda to White Bay, Jost van Dyke

The BVI’s barefoot island and home of the "Painkiller" drink. Population depends on the month – typically 250-300. This is another SeaDream destination where you may be served Champagne and Caviar in the surf followed by a beach barbecue lunch. A hike is always offered to guests to visit the famous Foxy’s Bar at Great Harbour (hopefully, the boutique is open) or you can stroll a few meters down the beach to the Soggy Dollar Bar. Snorkeling equipment is provided as well as some of our water toys!

Day 8

San Juan

Disembarkation.

Bridgetown/Barbados

Disembarkation.
More than 300 years of British rule have left their mark. The whole of Bridgetown, Barbados' historic centre, with its colonial architecture surrounding Trafalgar Square, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gentle green hilly countryside and endless fields of sugar cane characterise the island's landscape. Old colonial houses are reminders of the high life of the plantation owners, while innumerable colourful chattel houses are evidence of their workers' "moveable property". The sweeping coastline is a picture postcard of fine sandy beaches and turquoise sea surrounded by colourful coral reefs.

Overview

Crossing the Atlantic: Santiago – Barbados

An authentic sailing experience

Crossing the Atlantic on a traditional tall ship is an experience that leaves a lasting impression. For 13 days your exact course is determined only by the elements. When the crew sets the sails at dizzying heights, the wind fills the canvas and the ropes stretch and creak; you will experience a tangible sense of freedom..

Fulfilling the dream of a lifetime – crossing the Atlantic from Cape Verde on board a windjammer: Santiago – Barbados

Following in Columbus’ footsteps

What would have been going through Columbus’ mind as he set sail in 1492? It is virtually impossible to sail across the Atlantic in the discoverer’s footsteps without constantly considering his thoughts and ideas. Columbus had not yet discovered the trade winds, which provide ideal sailing conditions in the westerly direction during the winter months, but nowadays we know that they guarantee fantastic sailing for the Sea Cloud ii on its way to the Caribbean.

Relax and enjoy

Great adventures do not always mean great effort. For 12 days we sail a westward course across the Atlantic, always heading towards a magnificent sunset. It will not be long before you sit back and relax; surrounded by vast horizons and looked after by an attentive crew, you will leave your every-day stress behind in no time at all.

A lecturer accompanies the trip

Our lecturer will come thoroughly prepared for the 12 days at sea, ready to give you fascinating insights into his/her area of expertise as part of varied and entertaining talks.

Please Note: More Caribbean sailing cruises are available, not all of them are listed online. Please contact us for more details.

Day 1 to 23 (22 nights)

Tenerife - Martinique

Atlantic Crossing East - West (approx. 22 nights) from Tenerife to Martinique.
Note: the exact cruise plan of sailing yachts is never present, due to weather conditions.., that's sailing!

Overview

Tenerife – Martinique

Combine the best of two worlds – an authentic sailing experience on large sailing yachts – without the pressure of fixed routings, and the comfort and service of a cruise.

We merge the best of the world of sailing with the world of traditional cruises. Authentic and individual sailing, just as if you had chartered your own yacht, is combined with the attentive and caring service of our professional crew and the comfort of a cruise ship.

Thereby, we do not follow a strict routing during the mostly one-week sailing cruises, but go by wind, weather and the desires of our guests. Hence, if the wind is good, we may sail even a little into the night, accompanied by a breathtaking view of the stars above…

And if the wind is calm, we just find the closest bay and enjoy a refreshing swim, go snorkelling or take a stroll on the beach.., pure seafaring, far from the mass tourism of large cruise liners.

Whenever possible, we actually set sails, but only for about 4-7 hours a day. In the remaining time there is plenty opportunity to take a swim right off board, to go on an individual excursion to the shore and get to know the country and its people, and much more…

Please Note: More Caribbean sailing cruises are available, not all of them are listed online. Please contact us for more details.
