Variety Cruises has a unique fleet of 11 Mega Yachts and Motor Sailors. The Variety vessels accommodate between 34 and 72 passengers. Variety has always specialized in the niche market of small-ship Mediterranean cruising, with yachts ranging from four to 36 cabins.

Day 1

Mahe (Victoria port, Inter island Quay) - St. Anne

Embarkation 15:00 to 16:00 pm. After the welcome cocktail and safety drill, we leave Port Victoria and sail to nearby St. Anne for a refreshing swim stop off the ship. Overnight at anchor near St. Anne. Welcome dinner.

Day 2

St. Anne - Curieuse

We leave St. Anne island early in the morning to reach Curieuse. This morning we visit this uninhabited island, once a leper colony and home to giant tortoises. Our walking excursion with a park guide will bring us to the farm, along mangrove forests. Later we return to the beach for a BBQ under the trees. In the afternoon you can enjoy the beach and sea activities. Overnight at anchor.

Day 3

Curieuse - Cousin island - Anse Lazio

In the morning we sail for Cousin Island. Excursion to the Bird Sanctuary which is in the care Bird Life International. A quarter million birds breed on Cousin which also has several nesting beaches for turtles. Later in the afternoon we reach Anse Lazio. In the afternoon we sail to Anse Lazio, Praslin, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Time for water sports and snorkeling. Evening at anchor.

Day 4

Anse Lazio - Aride - St. Pierre - Baie St. Anne/Praslin

In the morning we leave for Aride. Our excursion by the island’s rangers will take you all the way to the top of the island for an amazing view of the island. The island is home to the Wright's gardenia found nowhere else on earth and to bird species like the Audubon's shear-water, the Seychelles warbler. At noon we sail for St Pierre Island. We reach St Pierre after lunch for a 3 hour snorkeling and swimming stop. At sunset, we leave St Pierre to sail into Baie St Anne, Praslin. Overnight at dock. Creole Night.

Day 5

Baie St. Anne, Praslin - Felicite - La Digue

Baie St. Anne, Praslin. Optional excursion to the famous Vallee de Mai Reserve, a World Heritage site. You will explore the pathways under tall palm trees which produce the famous Coco de Mer and you might sight a black parrot only found in Praslin. Afternoon sailing to Felicite for swimming, snorkeling or optional diving excursion on this uninhabited island. Evening sailing to La Digue. Evening arrival at La Digue. Anchor in front of the Port. Overnight.

Day 6

La Digue - Moyenne Island

Half day optional excursion in La Digue, the most photographed and quaint community in the Seychelles. Our optional excursion will take us through Union Plantation to l’ Anse Source d’ Argent beach. Arrive at L’ Union Estate and tour of the copra kiln, traditional coconut oil mill and the colonial plantation house. Time at Anse Source D’ Argent one of the most magnificent beaches in the world. Marvel at some of Seychelles most impressive rock formations – truly unique, whilst enjoying a refreshment. Time for hunting souvenirs at La Passe, the islands main village, before return to the ship. Late afternoon sailing to Moyenne island, opposite Mahe. Evening arrival at Moyenne. Overnight at anchor.

Day 7

Moyenne island - Mahe - Inter Island Quay

Short guiding tour around the island and time for swim. Beach BBQ on the island. This is a last opportunity for snorkelling and swimming. We leave Moyenne Island for Mahe's Victoria Port in the afternoon. Late afternoon, we reach the Inter island Quay, Mahe. Captain's Farewell Dinner with live music and dancing. Overnight in Mahe.

Baie St. Anne, Praslin - Felicite - La Digue

Baie St. Anne, Praslin. Optional excursion to the famous Vallee de Mai Reserve, a World Heritage site. You will explore the pathways under tall palm trees which produce the famous Coco de Mer and you might sight a black parrot only found in Praslin. Afternoon sailing to Felicite for swimming, snorkeling or optional diving excursion on this uninhabited island. Evening sailing to La Digue. Evening arrival at La Digue. Anchor in front of the Port. Overnight.

Day 6

La Digue - Moyenne Island

Half day optional excursion in La Digue, the most photographed and quaint community in the Seychelles. Our optional excursion will take us through Union Plantation to l’ Anse Source d’ Argent beach. Arrive at L’ Union Estate and tour of the copra kiln, traditional coconut oil mill and the colonial plantation house. Time at Anse Source D’ Argent one of the most magnificent beaches in the world. Marvel at some of Seychelles most impressive rock formations – truly unique, whilst enjoying a refreshment. Time for hunting souvenirs at La Passe, the islands main village, before return to the ship. Late afternoon sailing to Moyenne island, opposite Mahe. Evening arrival at Moyenne. Overnight at anchor.

Moyenne island - Mahe - Inter Island Quay

Short guiding tour around the island and time for swim. Beach BBQ on the island. This is a last opportunity for snorkelling and swimming. We leave Moyenne Island for Mahe's Victoria Port in the afternoon. Late afternoon, we reach the Inter island Quay, Mahe. Captain's Farewell Dinner with live music and dancing. Overnight in Mahe.

Mindelo, San Vincente – Porto Novo Santo Antao

Early in the morning depart for a short sail towards the island of Santo Antao, the greenest of all Cape Verde Islands with landscapes of verdant plantations of sugarcane alternate old craters. Our optional full day excursion will include the luxuriant Valley Paul where sugarcane is still exploited and where you will taste the "grogue" the national drink of the Archipelago. Day 1

Mahe (Victoria port, Inter island Quay) - St. Anne

Embarkation 15:00 to 16:00 pm. After the welcome cocktail and safety drill, we leave Port Victoria and sail to nearby St. Anne for a refreshing swim stop off the ship. Overnight at anchor near St. Anne. Welcome dinner.

Day 2

St. Anne - Curieuse

We leave St. Anne island early in the morning to reach Curieuse. This morning we visit this uninhabited island, once a leper colony and home to giant tortoises. Our walking excursion with a park guide will bring us to the farm, along mangrove forests. Later we return to the beach for a BBQ under the trees. In the afternoon you can enjoy the beach and sea activities. Overnight at anchor.

Day 3

Curieuse - Cousin island - Anse Lazio

In the morning we sail for Cousin Island. Excursion to the Bird Sanctuary which is in the care Bird Life International. A quarter million birds breed on Cousin which also has several nesting beaches for turtles. Later in the afternoon we reach Anse Lazio. In the afternoon we sail to Anse Lazio, Praslin, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Time for water sports and snorkeling. Evening at anchor.

Day 4

Anse Lazio - Aride - St. Pierre - Baie St. Anne/Praslin

In the morning we leave for Aride. Our excursion by the island’s rangers will take you all the way to the top of the island for an amazing view of the island. The island is home to the Wright's gardenia found nowhere else on earth and to bird species like the Audubon's shear-water, the Seychelles warbler. At noon we sail for St Pierre Island. We reach St Pierre after lunch for a 3 hour snorkeling and swimming stop. At sunset, we leave St Pierre to sail into Baie St Anne, Praslin. Overnight at dock. Creole Night.

Day 5

Baie St. Anne, Praslin - Felicite - La Digue

Baie St. Anne, Praslin. Optional excursion to the famous Vallee de Mai Reserve, a World Heritage site. You will explore the pathways under tall palm trees which produce the famous Coco de Mer and you might sight a black parrot only found in Praslin. Afternoon sailing to Felicite for swimming, snorkeling or optional diving excursion on this uninhabited island. Evening sailing to La Digue. Evening arrival at La Digue. Anchor in front of the Port. Overnight.

Day 6

La Digue - Moyenne Island

Half day optional excursion in La Digue, the most photographed and quaint community in the Seychelles. Our optional excursion will take us through Union Plantation to l’ Anse Source d’ Argent beach. Arrive at L’ Union Estate and tour of the copra kiln, traditional coconut oil mill and the colonial plantation house. Time at Anse Source D’ Argent one of the most magnificent beaches in the world. Marvel at some of Seychelles most impressive rock formations – truly unique, whilst enjoying a refreshment. Time for hunting souvenirs at La Passe, the islands main village, before return to the ship. Late afternoon sailing to Moyenne island, opposite Mahe. Evening arrival at Moyenne. Overnight at anchor.

Day 7

Moyenne island - Mahe - Inter Island Quay

Short guiding tour around the island and time for swim. Beach BBQ on the island. This is a last opportunity for snorkelling and swimming. We leave Moyenne Island for Mahe's Victoria Port in the afternoon. Late afternoon, we reach the Inter island Quay, Mahe. Captain's Farewell Dinner with live music and dancing. Overnight in Mahe.

Quepos - Playa Biesanz, Costa Rica

Morning optional excursion to MANUEL ANTONIO RESERVE, one of the highlights of the cruise. After lunch you can take the optional Forest Canopy afternoon excursion. Afternoon sailing to nearby Playa Biesanz for an afternoon swim. Forest Canopy tour excursion participants rejoin the ship in Playa Biesanz. Tropical evening with dinner and party. Late evening sailing to Puerto Jimenez, Golfo Dulce. Overnight at sea.

Day 3

Puerto Jimenez - Casa Orquideas - Golfito, Costa Rica

We reach Puerto Jimenez early in the morning. Morning optional OSA PENINSULA excursion. The park is part of one of the biological corridors leading to the Corcovado National Park and offers the opportunity for a smooth walk in secondary forest and interaction with endemic animal life. We return to the ship for a late lunch while we cross Golfo Dulce towards Casa Orquideas. After lunch, we reach by Casa Orquideas by tender, a beautiful flowers sanctuary. Optional excursion in the grounds and time to swim at the end of the visit. We then sail into Golfito. We reach Golfito for Immigration procedures and sail overnight south to COIBA & Granito de Oro islands.

Day 4

Coiba Island, Panama

Morning arrival in Coiba Island a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest island in Central America. Morning walk with our Ship Naturalist who will take you for a short walk up hill to discover the local forest and animal life. Time for swimming and beach BBQ on Coiba. In the afternoon, we leave Coiba and sail to Playa Muerto - Darrien. Overnight at sea.

Day 5

Playa Muerto - Darrien National Park - Isla Del Rey/Pearl Islands, Panama

Mid-day arrival in Darrien for our optional excursion in the Darrien National Park. We reach Playa Muerto by tenders (wet landing) and reach an Emberra Village where we are welcomed by Emberra Indians, one of the 7 indigenous groups living in Panama. They are proud and very friendly and known for their beautiful handicrafts and well preserved traditions. We will be invited to share their lunch and dance with them. Later in the afternoon we return to the ship and sail to Isla Del Rey – Pearl Islands – Overnight at anchor in Isla Del Rey.

Day 6

Isla Del Rey/Pearl Islands - Flamenco Marina/Panama City, Panama

Morning snorkeling and beach activities. Beach BBQ. After lunch on the beach we leave Isla Del Rey in the Pearl Islands and sail to Panama City. We reach Flamenco Marina / Panama City late in the evening. Immigration procedures. Overnight in port.

Day 7

Flamenco Marina/Panama City, Panama

Morning Optional excursion to the Gatun Lake and explore Fort San Lorenzo Spanish Historical Forts. Visit the Panama Canal Expansion Observation Center in Gatun and enjoy lunch there. Return to Panama City and visit the Canal Museum and watch the movements of ships in the locks. Farewell dinner and overnight in port.

Day 8

Flamenco Marina/Panama City, Panama

Colon 2000/Colon, Panama/Panama Canal crossing. Disembarkation 8:00 to 9:00 am after breakfast.
